oh, John’s clinic is THAT far away?! (good thing the grocery store at which I work is a few minutes’ walk from my apartment… traffic is only murder when it comes to the crosswalk)

Canada has this kind of traffic? We sure do here in Phoenix.

Lynn’s Comments: Even rush hour can be a pleasant respite for a harried parent. There are times I would have loved to be stuck in traffic instead of being stuck at home!

This is also why commuters don’t care to share a ride to work. It’s nice to enjoy the alone time before the day’s rush, or after a busy workday.

Kudos to my oldest two sons who would be and are the ones chasing after missing lunches and homework. That’s how they’ve structured their lives. Oddly, they most admire my husband but take after me. Some of those years, I didn’t work outside the home but they always have.

Not in my house when we had kids. Both my wife and I got the kids ready for school together and the older kids helped.

Bickering? Nagging? Whining? Didn’t those people learn anything from Elizabeth Day?

Orlando is worse – between constant road work on all the major roads and poor traffic light management we get no where fast.

The 401 in Toronto is the most congested highway in North America. New York, Chicago, L.A. have more TOTAL traffic, but they also have more highways. Toronto has basically all traffic on Hwy 401, unless you want to pay HIGH toll charges on HWY 407

I get this. The most peaceful time of my day is being stuck in traffic on the 405 in LA. But I thought the Patterson’s lived in a small town in Canada, and John’s office was local? Oh well maybe she just needed a gag for the day.
