what a relief for Liz

She’s turning into Michael…

Never put off until tomorrow, what you can put off until the day after…

This is me in class

Human nature. This is the reason successful people are eventually separated from the unsuccessful ones. And then the "un"successful people complain that “she” got a better job, grade, position, etc. than I did – “It’s not fair!”

usually the girls are the ones to get assignments done. as i’ve seen with my grandkids.

Wow, little Liz is learning from her older wiser brother. Never worry today about something that only matters tomorrow.

No teacher (in my experience) would ever do this. I was a huge procrastinator in school, but I would stay up half the night before something was due to make sure it was finished on time. I would not be happy if I made sure my work was done only to see others be given an extra day.

I relate to this. Sometimes in HS it was just so difficult to focus on schoolwork. It wasn’t until college that I started getting straight A’s most semesters—but then I didn’t have to survive the dysfunctional family storms I had to survive in High School. I did so much better away from my family. I even discovered that I was not stupid (or ugly, or fat) after all.

Nexr day — repeat….

Poor Michael being blamed by posters for everything, as if Liz can’t be a slacker all on her on.

The question should have been, “Let me see your homework.”

Shouldn’t this have been Michael instead of Liz?

Too bad the assignment wasn’t “Have a snowball fight with your brother.”

I’ve seen this exact concept in Calvin and Hobbes.

Procrastinators, Unite!!Tomorrow.

Being given another day means it was due today, now it’s due tomorrow, Lizzie. So get with it.

Heck, I’m procrastinating on an assignment right now.

Been there, done that (many times)!

That about sums it up. Reasonable living in an age of excuses.

Heaven forbid Liz take advantage of getting an extra day.

She needs to get cracking on those books or she’s gonna get a cracking for flunking that coarse by Grandma who will get on Mommy too! But Grandpa was most effective. He’d give us a dollar for every A we got on our report card. “Think Think Think” (Alcohol Anonymous).
