Republicans would do better to keep Jim Jordan in his cage. His continuing performances as the snottiest congressman alive can’t be helping them at all. Muzzle that guy, and take up a collection to buy him a suit coat.

After listening to some of the hearing I wondered if it was required to suspend all courtesy, civility, manners, graciousness and refinement when a person registers as a Republican. Absolutely disgraceful

Democrats watching the first public impeachment hearing Wednesday laughed after Rep. Peter Welch (D-Vt.) invited President Trump to testify. “I say to my colleague, I’d be glad to have the person who started it all come in and testify. President Trump is welcome to take a seat right there,” Welch said.

There is a Clay Jones cartoon showing the Republicans yielding their time to the pooh throwing monkey, who looks a lot like Jordan.

When your defense is that things could’ve been even MORE outlandish, you know your defense wouldn’t fool a lemur with a lobotomy. But it MIGHT fool Trump’s base……
