Republicans would do better to keep Jim Jordan in his cage. His continuing performances as the snottiest congressman alive can’t be helping them at all. Muzzle that guy, and take up a collection to buy him a suit coat.
The GOP shills, such as Radcliffe, made one point: Taylor’s statements concerning the most serious allegations were hearsay. Of course we all know why this is the case. Ol’ Punkinhead won’t let those with first hand knowledge come within a country mile of giving testimony. Thus, as the Brits so colorfully put it, does he pervert the course of justice.
Republicans are wallowing in the slime and sleaze of “Trump Swamp.” It will be a LONG time (if ever) before they appear even remotely respectable again!
After listening to some of the hearing I wondered if it was required to suspend all courtesy, civility, manners, graciousness and refinement when a person registers as a Republican. Absolutely disgraceful
Democrats watching the first public impeachment hearing Wednesday laughed after Rep. Peter Welch (D-Vt.) invited President Trump to testify. “I say to my colleague, I’d be glad to have the person who started it all come in and testify. President Trump is welcome to take a seat right there,” Welch said.
When your defense is that things could’ve been even MORE outlandish, you know your defense wouldn’t fool a lemur with a lobotomy. But it MIGHT fool Trump’s base……
Just as a side note: Someone really should tell the Republican counsel that a good lawyer never asks a question that they don’t already know the answer to.
Looks like the guy with a first name and some numbers has taken off before I got here. Whether by choice or compulsion, I can’t say, but it left me with way less dreck to go through.

Rants and raves don’t stop the waves from drowning sunny beaches. But they tried building a wall and that didn’t work either. What’s next?

Yeah. I said “sunny beaches” and I meant it !

Psycho liar Nunes started the day with a bunch of discredited right wing conspiracy theories. Lawless Republicans are unable to deal with reality.

Mike, great cartoon – you nailed both the look and the sound of yesterday’s hearing.

There is a Clay Jones cartoon showing the Republicans yielding their time to the pooh throwing monkey, who looks a lot like Jordan.
