Please do not profane(IMPO) the USMC monument to the Iwo Jima by linking the USMC to the current occupant of the WH general stupidity While I am not a member of the USMC I understand that the picture of that flag raising in WWII raised the morale of the entire US

Somewhat off subject … I read recently that one of the Marines in the iconic photo referenced here has now been correctly identified. And no, he was not Donald Trump.

One reason I couldn’t see myself in the armed services: I would have serious  trouble obeying the orders of a venal, crazy or just plain dumb commander in chief. Worse if all of them.
