I don’t care about football or Star Trek. What does that make me?

I don’t think Scott did this on purpose, but when he says “people”, he means “men”. There are other people who like knitting and shoes and hairdos, us men call those people “dear”, or “sweetheart”.

I don’t care about politics. or people. or most animals.

I’m told that makes me a sociopath.

If they interrupted Star Trek with a football game, a Star Trek fan would finish watching it from his DVD collection. If they interrupted a football game with a StarTrek episode, the world would burn.

I much prefer the arguments on whether Star Trek or Star Wars is better. Not.

Bull fighting, mountain climbing, and motor racing – most anything else is a game played with a ball. Star Trek/Wars? If it sells almost as many action figures as tickets, it’s a marketing ploy. Nobody said you had to or couldn’t love any of it though.

Took an internal poll. Star Trek – 90%; Sports – 10%. Sounds about right. I enjoy watching a well played football or baseball game, but don’t follow any particular team.
