Politics is so depressing that I am convinced that it would be better to abolish politics in order to improve the mental health of the population. It would result in much cheaper health care for the taxpayer, so (except for the ultra rich) it would benefit everyone.

… the following political debate and analysis is sponsored by makers of Cymbalta, Pristiq, Viibryd, Prozac, Zoloft, Desyrel, Paxil, Lexapro, and Effexor.

Alcohol is termed a ‘depressant.’ So long as Buttercup is at 1600, no one will ever need a substitute.

Not us, we just turn to God for strength and hope…and hope that this mistake they elected in 2016 is gone in 2021.

reminds me of the old line about politics, that it comes from poly- meaning “many” and ticks “blood-sucking creatures”…

Alcohol won’t solve your problems. But neither will milk.

I’m guessing the commotion on the road either involved alcohol or Sir Rodney.

Political news might be more interesting if it were sponsored by Viagra, but I am thinking Government is getting to big already.

    From THE SHORT BUS SONG:

    We’re short thirty drivers,

    Well, who would’ve thunk?

    Hard to face ’em sober,

    Not legal to drive drunk.

    …………………………

    Medication’s indicated,

What a fine thing that would be,

    For my special riders,

    Or maybe just for me.
