The funniest parody of Twelve Days of Christmas I have ever heard envisioned the song if it had been written by Keith Richards. The two verses I remember were the daily kicker “… and a riff in an open G.” And a resounding “Five pints of blooood.”
As a child, I always heard this as “four collie birds”. I didn’t know what that was, but neither did I know what a “turtle dove” was, so it sort of made sense.
