Normally I can get what Lester is saying (and disagree), but this makes no sense at all.

I like the last two.

The repubs wish for more children locked up, sick children sent back to their counties to die, all the trees to be chopped down, the PouTUS to rake in more money from his position, the economy to tank because of the Rump’s disruptions,…

Neither Mikey nor Donny-John have any understanding of the real world.

So his conservative side wants a worse environment and a recession, but the liberal side of him wants another dead Koch brother and Mar-a-Lago wiped out. Come on, Stan! You can’t have your Birthday cake and eat it too!

Just what kind of point are you trying to make here Mike?

Looks like’s Mike’s fictional wish list he is told the “liberals” wish for. Another lazy strip instead of tacking real things, he goes for the Republican unicorns and windmills again. I only wish Mike would join the real world someday and get out of that basement with Fox news Entertainment Channel running 24/7.

In other words, Mr. Lester wants another 4 years of Trump. Not a surprise.

Lester always makes me think of the old V. I. Lenin quote, “The worse things are, the better they are.”

If things were going smoothly Lester, and his GOP compadres, would have nothing to rail against, nothing to be AGAINST. And that’s what being a good little Conservative is all about, being against things.

Lester stays in business, and (somehow) gets paid for his work. The Homeless, Constant Recession, dead Kochs, killer hurricanes, those keep the bourbon flowing at Chez Lester.

Mike, you had me thinking Stan was a Republican in the first half not gonna lie.

Don’t be wishing harm to trumps properties. He knows all the fraud insurance angles and will use them (and FEMA’s money) to upgrade biggly.

Lester needs to explain how the current instantiation of the “Republican” platform will eliminate homelessness, protect our environment, and fortify our economy to withstand a recession BEFORE stereotyping all Democratics with the views of the extremists who wish physical harm to their opponents.

It is this dehumanizing of people that makes the independents and unaffiliated the largest growing political segment of the electorate. Without proactive cooperative compromising bipartisan government, we are not a nation that anyone can trust or respect. Is that what the Republicans think that all Americans want?

Mike Lester’s contributions consistently show the difference between a political cartoonist and a tiresome propaganda drone.

Lester must be a fan of Bill Maher’s show. The 3rd and 4th wishes are Bill’s.

This makes no sense even on a “support Trump at any cost” level.

It’s just another rendition of the “Poor Me” conservative victim psychology. They’re pretty good at that in spite of holding the reins of power in the government.

Stan is obviously a right winger. He wishes for the continuation of the lack of a social safety net that helps produce so many homeless, for more environmental protections to be stripped away by Trump’s EPA, and for more right wing economic plans that have created practically all the recessions over the last 4 decades.

He wishes for the death of the Koch brothers after learning of the study they helped fund that claimed M4A would save $2 trillion over the next 10 years, and for Dorian to hit Mar a Lago so Trump can use it as another grifting opportunity, similar to how he scammed the insurance company out of $17M after Hurricane Wilma blew over the lawn jockey.

Um… you ARE listening to yourselves, right? When a group starts to sound like a pack of hyenas fighting over a dead wildebeest, it’s probably time to reconsider one’s path in life.

In all fairness I’m good with Hurricane Dorian destroying Mar-A-Lago. Remember this that the Democrats have no control over the weather and this would be an act of God. Same for taking another Koch and seeing how they’re up in years they’ll eventually meet their maker and have a lot to answer for in this life. If Republicans truly loves this country they would work with Democrats to help reduce homelessness and help strengthen not weaken our environmental laws contributing to greenhouse gases contributing to Climate Change and putting an end to tax cuts for the rich and ending these mindless trade wars pushing us toward recession

If you cannot even blame someone real for your own faults, then you have to fall back on imagining a strawman bad liberal so you can attribute all the worst possible things to this imaginary person.

(I’d be with him on wishing Mar a Lago would get wiped out… except I’m sure the Occupant would find a way to get even more illegal emoluments as a result. And the McConnell Senate would, of course, back him on it.)

Reading the comments above would lead a person to believe that none of you watch CNN, MSNBC, read the WaPo or NYT, etc, etc.

Some of you are agreeing with the wishes even as you ridicule the artist. Calling him misguided even as you wish harm in the same breath.

The hypocrisy would be stunning if it weren’t so utterly normal for this crowd.
