It’s true. I just had cataract surgery and found cobwebs and dirt on my kitchen cabinet doors. Oh, and wrinkles.
Did you lose your hands, Earl?
Cos otherwise, if YOU see dust, I know where there’s a dust-cloth with your name on it.
Lucy… how did your cabinet doors get wrinkled? LOL
She did see when Earl had his shirt on inside out…
She does seem a bit PO’d by the reminder.
There’s an upside to everything!
Just because you are due does not mean you have to go :-)
Is Roscoe “laughing” in that final panel?
My mom used to say You can sign your name in the dust, just don’t date it.
Is “dust” that lovely patina on the piano?
My opinion is that God put that dust there for a reason. Who am I to thwart the will of God?
The glare is killing me, but I can see just fine, Earl!
Out of sight, out of mind.
Good point. I once cleaned the bathroom and then came back later with my reading glasses on… doh!
Roscoe’s tail is wagging 100 miles an hour, you know it’s true even if you can’t see it wagging.
I just got new glasses about a week ago. My first crack was to my bride, saying: " Oh, so that’s what you look like, now! "
She called me the equivelent of a smartass in Spanish.’s (at least I think that what she said…)
same here- I put my glasses on and notice all the spots I missed with the duster so I take my glasses off.
My mother used to brag about how clean everything was while we still saw dust and cobwebs. She must really be impressed these last few decades.
Well, you look better when you’re fuzzy, Earl.
When my cataracts were replaced with tonic lenses, and I acquired 20/20 vision, I saw dust and grime that I didn’t see previously. I was mortified. So his comment is indeed valid.
Dust on sunny days and hope that company comes on the cloudy ones.
I am a firm believer in the Antiques Roadshow dictum that cleaning things reduces their value…My house is priceless!
