Chewing sheep skin. That’s a new one. That might make me think twice about putting a piece of bubble gum in my mouth.

Sorry, it may have lanolin in it, but chewing gum is not made of lanolin.

Is it any wonder I spat out my first and last chewing gum stick when I was little?

Honey never expires? Then why have they got expiry dates on em packaged “pure honey” sold by brands?

There are many synthetic sweeteners, but the most used are xylitol, sorbitol, mannitol and aspartame are also used.

The temperance fools of that era blamed the soda water for making drinks like Scotch and Soda become faster intoxicants. So, an ice cream parlour introduced the dish without the soda water and served it on Sundays to get around the dry Sunday laws. And then they got pissed for having it called a Sunday Soda. And thus the sundae was born.

Modern chewing gum came from Mexico via Santa Anna and was made from chicle. Today’s gums are made primarily from synthetic rubbers and petroleum distillates…

BTW: My favorite gum is Trident Mint Bliss. I really like the flavor. Plus, it is not advertised as a bubble gum and is much softer to chew than any bubble gum I have tried, but you can blow bubbles with it.

Well, that explains why the last time I had mutton it was so chewy…

so, if you put honey in gum you can have an eternal chew…?
