Credible verifications outweigh credible falsifications. I’m not actually sure that’s what they call it, but I invite someone to prove me wrong.

There will always be people — um, unicorns — who will deny the truth when it’s staring them in the face.

I’m starting to lean towards smacking him(her) to prove she exists.

Boop him on the nose. It probably won’t change anything, but since he’s hovering his snooter so close to your face, I’d be reeeaaaaal tempted to boop it anyway, just because.

There are some people that no matter what the evidence will still insist on ludicrous alternatives. Such is the way of our society. Unreasoning denial is a widespread and psychologically recognized condition. Humankind seems willing to believe anything… except the truth.

To be fair, Marigold just might be able to conjure up such an illusion. But Occam’s razor says she didn’t.

She should yank his beard or twist his horn — that would make her real.

Phoebe! Your friend is defending you against one of her own kind — appreciation, please!

Give a skeptic a fact and they will give you any number of ways to disbelieve it.

It looks like Phoebe is telling Marigold to not tell her that she can’t be a rare speckled bridge troll.

Pull his beard tuft. Tickle him.

Apparently, Phoebe actually believes “You can be anything you want to be!” And the best way to get her to do something is to deny that she can.
