Boy shows his fist at the plow- boy on a horse drawn one.

He is saying, “Man horse thieves get hung where I come from"!

… and now, from Charles City, Iowa, the creator of the dust bowl…

…if you’re not the lead dog the view remains the same…

    …is this a vintage ad or a Teresa creation?…

    …HART-PARR termed the name ‘tractor’…

…the term, tractor beam was created by E.E. Smith…

…the term, ’tractor attention by Jethro Bodine…

MY favorite part was, “The keen mind of the boy will be quick to note the difference.” I detect a note of sarcasm, myself, but perhaps my mind is not so keen.

Just let your son get tangled up in a brand-new John Deere combine harvester, and then he’re really know what farming is all about!

What’s left of this company is “White Planters,” which probably should be a subject of a future Teresa cartoon.

As life goes on: You’re in the Army now, you’re not behind the plow. You’ll never get rich, you son of a bitch, you’re in the Army now.

Can’t add anything to what’s been said. Except to contribute that Hart-Parr became the Oliver Tractor and Implement company. My uncle was an “Oliver” man. My dad was “Farmall.” And ya’ll really didn’t need to know that, did you. heh heh

Mush-headed, stubborn dads fall for their sons’ lines about the advantages of a mechanical plowing machine? Say it ain’t so!

—Though we know from observation that it is true that the reds and the greens have pretty much taken over (IH, Deere, or now Mahindra and many others).

    Plowboy is obsolete!
