Hey SKELLEY, how about a cartoon of Trump and McConnell throwing things off a highway overpass during rush hour?

Outta the way, Nancy. Here comes the 21st Century! (Joe and Bernie can go away, too.)

Fear of the future seems to be a large part of “Republican” policy.

Nancy Pelosi – First woman to serve as Speaker

John Boehner – Resigned due to opposition in his own caucus

Paul Ryan – Resigned because he’s a selfish little twit, but smart enough to realize that he wasn’t likely to get reelected (to his House seat AND the Speakership) and decided to save himself the humiliation of almost certain defeat.

Nancy Pelosi – One of seven to be chosen to serve non-consecutive terms as Speaker.

I am sure she appreciates your sympathetic comic, SKelley, but she’s got the job well under control.

Why don’t you focus on the REAL cause of her primary issue? The Executive Branch? It’s a damn shame when the Cabinet is in such a shambles that it affects the smooth running of the House and Senate.

Trump (and Mitch McConnell) are the greatest threats to stable American governance and YOU are drawing pictures of Nancy Pelosi.

Pick a Cabinet member, SKelley, go ahead, at random, pick one. And then try to explain what a great job they’re doing for the American people.

Or how about I pick one, or two, or FIVE or MORE and explain how they’re failing to do their job, they’re unqualified to do their job and why they should be removed from office? How about we look at all the VACANT Senior Administration positions we have?

Hey, as long as we’re here. Let’s ask ourselves, WHY are they unfilled? McConnell will confirm ANYONE Trump picks. So, why?

How about because once they’re confirmed they have authority and responsibility and won’t do what Trump says.

But leave the job vacant, and leave the position to be run by a deputy who won’t, or can’t say NO to the Emperor and a man like Trump can do what he likes.

So Kelley is acknowledging that Pelosi is working constructively and productively on behalf of the country, doing the unglamorous but very necessary work that the Republican Speakers have avoided since they took control of the House? A n unlikely epiphany!

Democrats were warned against keeping Pelosi as House Leader. Dragging the 20th century into the 21st won’t work.

Interesting. Democrats have differences of opinion and Kelley and other GOP-stoppers see it as rebellion. Of course, when you and your party are only composed (or decomposing) old white guys what can you expect.

I disagree with Kelly on the issues 99% of the time, but that’s a darn good cartoon. And if he’s trying to say that Pelosi is the responsible one in her party, I agree with him this time.

The real joke, of course, is that Pelosi would ever build anything.

There’s room for differences of opinion and differences of strategy. I’m an old geezer now, but I have a lot of sympathy for the younger people who want to shake things up. We’ve got some serious problems which are not going to get fixed by a moderate approach.

Kelley must prefer the arm-twisting, threatening approach that the Repubs use. They have kept votes open for hours while someone like Cheney go around the House or Senate to “discuss” the issues with those not voting the way they’re “supposed to”. Amash is being attacked because he is the only Repub who says anything negative about Trump.

I don’t want to see the discord negatively affect the chances for Dems in 2020. But considering how low voter turnout has been, there need to be more options for Dems to vote FOR that have progressive ideas instead of just being corporate shills that are Repub-lite.

Oh yes. To the world they may seem like accomplished adult women but for Steve Kelly they are just children.

I am hoping that when Mueller speaks next week it will be a game changer.

Maybe it will even penetrate rich old Nancy’s head to start impeachment.

Is Kelley shedding his ‘crocodile tears’ while he laments the current state of the Democratic-controlled House?
