I’m with TJ on this one: less chitter-chatter amongst co-workers and get back to work.

The last couple days have actually been pretty funny. Nice to see that the characters can be witty too.

You keep going forward Tiff and in the future you’ll beat Anne Awful at her own game. With Less, I don’t know what he’ll do.

“Pain in the neck.” I think it’s been decades since I heard that. Maybe back when nice people didn’t say “A**”

Now Tiff doesn’t have to ask Ann Eiffel for money. In time – she will also feel relief that she doesn’t need money from her Dad.

well, its nice to have something in common to talk about at work; although sports or the weather is more usual.

Les missed his chance to volunteer giving Tiff a good massage after work.

You know les, if you wanted to be a gentleman, you’d offer to massage tiffany’s aching shoulders and back. I haven’t met a woman who didn’t like a man who’s good with his hands and can make her feel good.

I like that Tiff is acknowledging that hard work and personal responsibility are a cure for her pain in the neck. :)

If TJ was still unaware of all the stories Les and Tiffany have with Ann, this might be the good time to him for finds them all.

Ah, (step) brother and sister bonding over complaining about a parent. Remember Les, unless reality here warps, bonding over your mutual “dislike” over Ann is as close to Tif as you’re going to get.

I agree. A witty couple of days here. Enjoy these two together.

As I like to say hilarity ensues, and that is a good, and basic pleasure of the strip. Within that though lies the story, and here the real, up-front story is that Tiffany and Les have the same pain, Awful Ann. Will they team up and tackle her? Will romance ensure? One more thing though, and now I am really worried: where is Mordy? He should be all over this by now. Prayers my coffee buddy.

Looks like most places I’ve worked; employees share a few moments a leadership/management reminds you of what needs to be done.What I like is Tiffany is solving her problems. Les needs to look toward a future.

An interesting thought, I wonder if Tiffany’s dad is aware of what Ann did to her son; I’d also be curious if he’d approve.

Commenters have asked constantly for character development in the strip’s major characters. Well here’s Tiffany slaving at a job that causes her aches and pains while appreciating what rewards it brings. She’s also exhibited honesty and dedication to her social contract with Les re shared tips.

Les has exhibited no bitterness in acceptance of his “lesser status” job. He has also exhibited a good-natured sense of humor in his offer to share digs with Tiff.

Today we see (potential) bonding between the two over a common “pain in the (insert body part here).”

No hints of the “Old Tiff” haughtiness, selfishness, etc. No hints of the Les sleaze, crookedness, etc.

If this isn’t “development,” what is?

I think this might be where TJ learns Ann Eiffel is back in town

We may be seeing the development of a real Les-Tiff relationship here. Centered around their daily work proximity and driven by their common feelings for Ann Awful. Mordy where are you???]

If GnK go that route, such a relationship might be fodder for some dramatic arcs in the future when their titular parental units announce wedding plans. Thus complicating their familial relationship.

Interesting that TJ’s speech balloon covers Les’ speech balloon, just above a sign that says “Keep it clean”.

Hey! Les is becoming less of a creep/villain. Before he would’ve offered to massage Tiff’s neck after she said it hurt.

Oh Stifle! They are Stepsister & stepbrother.Maybe they could become friends.

I like the “Keep It Clean” sign behind Les while they discuss just Where Annie Awful pains them.

Tiffany’s Next Line would be:

“So, is that what happened to your A&&? Annie Awful bit it Off?”

Or as Gwen said in one Ben 10 movie, “less chit-chat more combat!”

Well timed, T.J.! But no matter where, that Ann Eiffel is a huge pain!

Tiffany’s sore back and feet should make her realize that she needs to focus hard on her business degree and classes so that she can graduate and be successful at something more than waitressing.
