LA has lost 2000 square MILES to ocean rise. Other communities are working on contingency plans as water keeps flooding them more and more often. Charleston will be underwater by 2100 at projected rates. Republicans will blame it all on Hillary!!

If we don’t get a handle on climate change, Floridians might just need to add pontoons to their houses.

We live less that a mile from the Chesapeake, and just about three feet above sea level. There are places in our yard that are always too wet to mow.

When the Great Lakes converge and swallow Michigan I hope Payne stands his ground and defies it to take his McMansion.

In a few more decades at the present rate the name will be the Great Lake.

So Henry do you not believe that the ocean will be wiping out people’s homes and jobs or do you just not care?

And the only way they were able to get a permit in less than 20 years to build that thing is because trump streamlined the fed approval process. :)

Building an Ark is a gud krizzchen thing to do. Dems will form committes to write non-binding resolutions. Businesses that see profit in disaster will start buying/building on higher ground. We will end up being thralls to those with foresight. It will be the free market at work. Rs will then call it “socialism”

Meanwhile, in the real world, the “life size” Noah’s Ark exhibit in Kentucky tried to sue their insurance carriers for not covering damage to the half-assed roads on their property from excessive rains.

Climate change, religious nuttery, and skirting regulations all in one beautiful karmic story.

It needs to be an ark that will withstand a category 7 Hurricane with wave heights to about 80 meters.
