Another Lisa Lie.

Is that a lie band-aid?

Not sure what Lisa is trying to say, but then she fails to be clear fairly often, so no surprise there. If she is saying google is muzzling the conservatives, first google has the right to restrict anyone it wishes, its not a matter covered by the first amendment as some people seem to feel. Secondly Google doesn’t restrict anyone who doesn’t hurt their business. Conservatives do love to play the victim though. Like when they claimed President Obama was using the IRS to pick on conservative groups when a simple fact check proved otherwise.

Radical xenophobic, nationalist, supremacist, anti-US-Constitution, post-Eisenhower Republicans calling themselves conservatives is disgusting as they just tarnish the reputation of a once great American political party. My family was Republican — on both sides as far as anyone could remember — for generations, until Nixon. Google is not silencing real conservatives by any realistic measure.

Totally weird, I thought Google was a neutral public forum.

I think Lisa is mixing up Google with Reddit that recently blocked a rightwing site advocating violence against the left. After all, to any Trumpista, a liberal is not even human and nothing more than a target.

If Google could muzzle every reprobate in a MAGA hat, I’d never say another bad thing about them again. But alas, as usual, the persecution fantasy of the chud is way better than the reality.

One he is unfiltered however we get things like “Pizzagate” (that leads to assult with a deadly weapon) Or “Sandy Hook was a hoax” (which leads to harassment of people who’s crime is the murder of their child by a conservative) Or “The Dems have Child Sex Slaves on Mars” ( Cant Make this stuff up) “Birtherisim”

How come their are no Left Wing conspiracy theories? No the Muller report is ACCURATE Even the Steele Dossier has been proven correct more often than false.

We can only hope….

Lisa backs the people who called Sandy Hook a hoax (shocking since she has four children), white supremacists, and conspiracy theorists. That is the ones she is defending with this cartoon because those are the ones being “censored”.

I think the comic is in response to a Project Veritas expose’ that caught a higher-up at Google pronouncing anti-Trump efforts towards the 2020 election.

Funny how the (suspiciously ever-present, given the core complaint) conservatives whine that their compatriots are being censored, but never EVER address WHY.

Conservatives always complain that the plain truth makes them look bad, that their beliefs are made to look like moral errors and that the world is against their way of life. Always. I would encourage them to take another look at why that is but “take another look” isn’t in their operating manual. I would, however, encourage them to attend a church other than the one they usually go to, listen closely to the sermon, and get down on their knees and pray for enlightenment followed immediately by a sincere prayer for forgiveness. But I bet that they won’t be doing that either. I’d love to be surprised.

PS: I’m not a Christian (not even lower-case), but almost without exception they claim to be, so I thought I’d offer something they might actually find possible.

Huh, funny. I googled “Trump 2020 Conservatives” and got back 10’s of 1,000’s of hits.

Granted, most of them were images of lovely snowflakes, melting, melting away.

But don’t worry Lisa, there was plenty of hate and vitriol as well. Trump’s people were WELL represented!

What, exactly, is Google or anyone else keeping conservatives from posting? Ideas? Nope. Rational and substance-based debate? Again, no. Lisa wants Google and others to be a willing partner in fomenting conservative hate, racism, bigotry, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, and give the impression those hateful and destructive points of empty rhetoric and baseless attacks and innuendo are somehow a rational substitute for substance and honest and constructive interaction. Google, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other media have decided there are limits to the amount of christian-conservative porn they will tolerate and subject their subscribers to.

Why does Lisa hate Capitalism? If Google wants to control what is put on their platform or flows through their gates whose business is it? If you do not like the restrictions, start your own search engine. Or maybe Ms Benson is in favor of people telling her what topics she has to portray here?

Best they do keep quiet…all they do is lie….

First they complain there’s too much on Google about Republicans (because they do stupid stuff), now they complain there isn’t enough coverage. Make up your mind(less)!

I thought this cartoon was triggered by the shutdown of a group on Reddit.

Well, it was not shut down because it was “conservative” — there are lots of other “conservative” groups on Reddit which are not shut down, — but because too many posters in that one particular group were attempting to incite violence.

So is that what Lisa thinks “conservative” should be?

Republicans HAVE to lie, or they will simply cease to exist on a national level. When people are given a choice of two statements on issues that actually affect their everyday life, one that describes the Republican position and the other the Democrat’s, the Democratic position is chosen by about 80% of Democrats and Independents. No surprise there. The weird part is that just under half of Republicans also choose Democrat positions, unless they are told which position is supported by each party. Then they fall into line and choose the Republican option- 78% of the time. And, I suspect that those who call themselves Republicans but support Democratic ideas still go out and vote for Republicans. So, it is entirely reasonable for Republicans to lie a lot. The people running the Republican party are in that half of the Republicans who actually believe in Republican positions. They are roughly 25% of the voting public. They have no chance of ever winning a national election unless they keep as many people as possible from voting and keep the rest of them confused enough to vote against their own best interests.

I wonder if Lisa Benson wakes up and thinks that spreading bullsh*t is hilarious. She has to, I can find no other reason for anyone to act this stupid.

Hey Lisa, MAYBE if there wasn’t so much hate speech coming from that side?

Yeah, Lisa. SUCH a travesty when the big bad media won’t tolerate or contribute to the spreading of self-servative slander, libel and conspiracy theories, none of which are protected under the First Amendment.
