Contrary to what Trump asserts, acting on the Mueller report is not a coup. It is the legitimate exercise of congressional authority. Given the point blank lies Barr made before Congress, there are now two to impeach..
A coup is a military takeover. Juan Guaido, whose only claim is that he proclaimed himself president, is using the military to overthrow the current government. And Maduro got elected, the same way Trump did, and is just as legitimate.
Is this meant to imply that Democrats are supporting Maduro? I’m an independent, but I have plenty of friends that are Democrats, and I have yet to talk to one that believes that Maduro should remain in power. They are mostly against a military intervention on our part.

Why should we care about Venezuela when we ourselves have an illegitimate president appointed by Russia ?

Maybe the US should be taking notes from Venezuela.

if all the people that are so keen on ousting Maduro were equally interested in ousting Trump, fine by me.

“Well, we should add Trump to the conversation.” is the reply.

Hard to have a coup when the person who is to be eliminated still runs the military.

Is Bok saying that those two conditions are mutually exclusive?
As if Both Trump and Maduro can not be corrupt and in a conspiracy with the Russians

Absolutely the way we’re used to from the West. Promise a lot, but when it comes down to it… Honesty is not yet for us, even if we think we are.
