Actually had this happen to me. Kid in a remedial math lab (at a community college) claimed the program (the course was computer based) had the answer to a long division wrong. I asked him to show me and he entered the operands into the calculator backwards.
I build stuff and need to figure angles and lengths of sides. Not being a trained carpenter, I don’t know the tricks so I have to resort to my high school trig instead. I never thought I would ever use that.
I think I mentioned before that I have dyscalculia. Adding and subtracting are usually okay, multiplication and division, esp. the latter, can sink me. I try and try to do math, but get such a headache. Sometimes, it kicks in, and I can do it. Mostly, I can’t get the numbers to behave for me. All of the math Amend uses is way beyond my comprehension.

Do any of the calculators still use reverse polish notation, haven’t used anything beyond a basic calculator in years.
