So Ramirez is saying that all those things are fictional concepts used to create an adolescent power fantasy?

Government Dependence? That would be the RED “taker states” like Alabama and Mississippi who TAKE more from the federal government than they send in taxes, to cover for their FAILED RED STATE economic disasters. Of course, these “takings” come from BLUE “donor states” such as the successful, prosperous economies of California and New York, which send more in taxes to the federal government than what we take. And gee, those rude RED staters don’t even have the courtesy to say “thank you” and instead whine, whine, whine about “welfare” as they beg for more.

Social Security & Medicare Insolvency? Typical TrumpubliCON lie. Both are quite solvent, and any future shortfalls can easily be addressed by closing loopholes such as raising Social Security contribution income caps and making contributions progressive instead of regreesive.

National Debt? Seriously? The ENTIRETY of the national debt is the result of RepubliCON deficit spending under Reagan, the Bushes and now Trump, who exploded deficits to REDISTRIBUTE wealth from working people who are squeezed by taxes and giving ginormous tax giveaways and corporate welfare to the few richest elites who already have the most and yet are allowed special lower tax rates and special loopholes to avoid paying their fair share.

Liberal Popular Culture? Now Michael Ramirez proves that, for all the talk about “liberty” or freedom or trying to “get the government off our backs,” he believes that PUBLIC POLICY should micromanage our personal lives and private choices, micromanaging medical choices (reproductive choices, medical marijuana, end of life choices, stem cell therapies) or trying to force PRIVATE religion into PUBLIC policy or public events or subsidize it with special tax advantages (socialized religion).

Looking at Ramirez cartoons I sometimes wonder if he was a actually a liberal cartoonist mocking conservatives’ position on social issues with acidic sarcasm.

What the hell do you mean, Progressive Educational System?

    That we educate everyone?

Everyone. From the Fully Mentally Disabled to the Gifted and Talented and all of us in between?

Everyone. As the song goes, Red and Yellow, Black and White they ARE precious in our sight. We have room for them in our classrooms.

Everyone. The so called “bad” kids as well as the “good” kids. Not just the nice kids. We believe that the troubled kids need us just as much. We believe that there is hope for them.

Everyone. To include the children brought to our land without proper documentation. Every child deserves an education, even the ones some call “illegal”. They are children, for the love of God, and need to be in school.

Is your problem what we teach?

That when we teach the Constitution we teach the Preamble as well as the rest of it?

That when we teach history we teach the WHY as well as the when and where?

That when we teach history we teach perspective? How it might FEEL to be a slave? How it might FEEL to be a woman without the vote? How it might FEEL to be a man whose son was lynched by a mob or shot like a dog by a police officer?

Ramirez, this is not Progressive Education. It is American education.

National Debt — We can pay it. America is the richest country in the history of the world. If the 1%ers would pay their fair share & Republicans would stop porking the budgets, we’d be just fine.

Social Security / Medicare — Pays for itself if competently administered. They have been adjusted and balanced since their inception. Fear-mongering aside, I think America can figure it out.

Government Dependence — We are governed by ourselves, you know; We the People. If America can’t depend on America, then who can we depend on — Russia?

Progressive Education — Well, yeah. Regressive education would be kinda stupid. America has been known to embrace the future boldly with some success.

Liberal Popular Culture — WTF??? Americans are free to have whatever culture they so desire. Nobody gets to tell us about that, for all love. The “culture” of the United States will be whatever it will be — duh.

Media Bias — 21st century Americans on will be less likely by far to be influenced by biased media outlets. Saying that Americans aren’t smart enough to adapt & overcome media bias is calling us too stupid to be free, which is a lie.

This is a peculiar comic. Seems he’s more interested in showing off his drawing skills than any possible humorous statement.

Perhaps Ramirez could illustrate a cartoon about Adelson’s “end-game” — about how much he and his wife benefited from #45’s Tax Cut!

When my stepmother died, ( in a suburb of DC) her house was sold for $800K +. When my brother drove by a week later, the house had been demolished. $800K for a LOT?

The American Left has just about as much control of the media today as Goebbels did in an earlier era. The only difference is it is voluntary today, compliments of the Progressive education system. By partnering with its companion deep state, it has even demonstrated the ability to virtually run the show even when out of power. As for the economy, the Social Justice Warriors want more and more free stuff knowing it can’t be paid for even by eviscerating the productive half which includes those of us who are not billionaires and already pay their “fair share.” Those who pay attention know why and those who don’t need to read up on Cloward and Piven. Ramirez is a prophet who speaks the truth with pictures.

Republicans again are planning to put the country another trillion dollars in debt by giving tax breaks to billionaires, corporations and oligarchs.

They do this on purpose to destroy all of the social programs in the USA, so they can claim there is no money for them.

The greedy Republicans hate to help anyone but themselves.

It was liberal thinkers that wrote the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Conservatives fought for the king.
