I wonder how the almighty does unwind. I mean does he have a hobby, or are we his hobby. Maybe keeping existance from blinking out is a full time job and humanity is the equivalent of YouTube for God and we are the cats.
For a while now, Close To Home has been a place for me to stop by every day, frequently worth the stop for a good chuckle. I’m sorry that John McPherson felt the need to misrepresent God in such an offhand and erroneous manner. Anybody who has heard and understood the Gospel knows that God did everything necessary (through Jesus Christ’s sacrifice at Calvary) to make the way for sinful mankind to return to fellowship in God’s family, a way open to anyone and everyone who wants to turn to God. Some things are just way too important to joke about, and this is right at the top of the list. Seriously, as it is written in the Scriptures “seek the Lord while he may be found, call upon Him while He is near.”
