With the $22 million the investigation made off Manafort and god knows what the SDNY will fine Deutsche Bank and the Trump organization for money laundering…. the investigation is more than paying for itself.
We pay for many reports that we don’t get to see: All those secret three-letter-organizations. And, imo, about 75% of those secret reports should be made public so we could see how much value we are (not) getting.
The American electoral public MAY have no pressing need to see the ENTIRE Mueller Report, including attachments, but Congress absolutely has a “need” to see it – in its ENTIRETY
We already KNOW that the Trump administration is the most corrupt in history, but Congress needs to determine the depths of its corruption so it may establish rules and safeguards to avoid such corruption from occurring again. And, to accomplish THAT, it needs the Mueller Report!
(And I realize that the simple way, the ‘easy’ way to avoid further corruption from occupying the White House would be to establish a “law” prohibiting ANY Republican from ever occupying the White House, again. But the question then becomes, "How do you codify such a position into “Law”? See, it’s NOT so easy.)
And we’re all paying dearly for the effort made by Russia and others to take the electoral college, rather than a majority of the electorate. We may be paying for decades, especially in the courts and in the environment. Hmm, maybe not so many decades.
