Tone deaf, dumb, and blind.

Singing coach: “It’ll take years of really hard work and long hours…”

Adam: “OK. I think my little Katy is prepared to do whatever it takes to be a singer. I’ll do anything for her to help.”

Singing coach: “You realize this is going to cost you a lot of money in lessons.”

Adam: “It was very nice to have met you. Good day. Katy, let’s go.”

♫ Climb every mountain! ♫

Well, that sux. I guess it is time for an ice cream cone and piano lessons.

Katy took that better than I thought she would.

Tell her that her voice needs to mature a bit before taking lessons, like thirty years.

Her voice is more like an unnatural gift

I had a voice teacher tell me that 90+% of those who think they’re tone deaf are not. They simply haven’t been trained — or have been actively discouraged.

It’s going to take longer than anyone realizes. She’s starting in the Challenger Deep at the bottom of the Mariana Trench.

Think uphill,with frostbite.

she TRIED to be nice…then had to be blunt.

I am pretty sure I could improve my voice enough for solo work at church and community theater – If I was willing to work hard. However, I am not, so am content to sing in the chorus (I am at least good enough for that). :o)

A lot of people think like her and are still waiting to be discovered…

More like a natural disaster.

I sure hope Katy’s not reading these comments. She’ll get a serious complex.

Klondike Katy. There’s a future in it.

Do what makes you happy, even if it’s not going to make you a star or a billionaire.

A journey to the top of Mt. Everest from the bottom of the Marianas Trench, maybe. Hope the music teacher has a good supply of migraine medicine.

And a little talent.
