Sounds to me like it’s only weird in numbers that are neither prime or composite.

So weirdness is an XOR operation?

It’s sort of reminds me how. . .

(Postive) x (Postive) = Positive; (Negative) x (Negative) = Positive; (Positive) x (Negative) = Negative

Not to say that “weird” people are negative or “normal” people are negative — it just sort of resembles the system, ya know.

To comprehend today’s strip crystal-clear, substitute “Weird” for “Different” in every speech bubble.

It is normal for people to feel more comfortable with our peers who are the same as us. That’s instinctive and beyond our control.

The greatest feeling is when you become comfortable and good friends with someone who is completely different, be it their culture, skin color, religion, personality or all of the above.

That IS within our control. Give it a try!

I think some numbers are odder than others.

At least they haven’t gotten into the realm of imaginary numbers.

Well, it has been proven that people tend to enjoy company with those with common tastes, so there is something to that explanation.

Weirdness is much better in groups. That’s why the word begins with “we”.

As George Carlin once said: “See my beard, ain’t it weird? Don’t be skeered, it’s just a beard.”

“And it would even more be rash, if you were fleeing from my ’stache.” (No, as far as I know, Carlin did NOT say that…………)

That would mean that three weird people are weird, but four aren’t….

By this logic if I’m in bed by myself that’s weird, and if I’m in bed with my wife that’s normal, and if we invite a friend that’s weird – so I should invite at least two friends to make it normal. Great!…

Most people are more normal than they think. The odd ones are usually alone or in small groups out of sight.

Always did wonder why odd numbers are called ‘odd’ numbers.
