The turtle is wrong. Increasingly, people are not fooled by TrumpubliCON denials of scientific reality and increasing numbers of voters, and young people especially, who will suffer great damage in their own lifetimes, are awakening to the reality of this danger.
Climate change is becoming a critical public policy issue and, increasingly, TrumpubliCONs are on the wrong side of it. As Democrats rush in with solutions, WE are being greeted as the hero firefighters who were blocked by the evil arsonists profiting off the damage they cause and TRUMPublicCONs are the ones who will be badly burned in the fires-for-profit they set, in their willingness to sacrifice future generations on the blood-stained (and badly charred) altar of BIG CARBON (oil and coal) corporate profits.
I really think that Yertle is NOT going to run again in 2020, so he’s creating as much havoc and destruction of the American Political System as he can before he slinks off to a LONG OVERDUE retirement!
The authoritarians who revels in imposing his will while ignoring the will of the people is an example of the kind of politicians you get when the job requirements are set so low.
One year ago today, the name of what must have been a wonderful woman (to have had a high school named after her) became irrevocably linked in the public mind with horror. Of course, that linguistic injustice is far down the list of tragedies on that awful day, but I for one would like to say a kind word for Marjorie Stoneman Douglas, the human being.
The line between “genius” and “idiocy” has always been very tenuous and is open to interpretation.McConnell is achieving HIS goals while, at the same time he’s distracting us with the antics of the “Useful idiot”, Donald John Trump.
What most people view as blatant “stupidity” is actually a well thought out plan that is going in a direction few can see but we’ll all suffer for, and that it’s ALREADY too late to correct – unfortunately!

Some conservatives are moaning that, yes, something needs to be done, but we can’t do it by ourselves. The rest of the world has to be on board.
Sure…and that’s why we walked away from the Paris Accords?

He’s a tool. I don’t wish bad on anybody, but if I did succumb to the urge, he’d be on my list of people who deserve a right flogging.
