Insurance policy? Better get a strong magnifying glass for the fine print. That’s where all the interesting stuff is.

I recently read the declaration page (summary page) of my homeowner’s policy. I get a discount for having a deadbolt lock on the front door, as well as smoke detectors and a fire extinguisher in the kitchen. I love pointing this out to 2nd Amendment “enthusiasts” who advocate keeping a gun for self-defense. I’ve never heard of an insurance company giving you a price break for a gun; they probably would give you a price break if you keep the gun and ammo in a locked safe and have trigger locks on the gun(s). As you can tell, I like driving the gun crazies crazy.

Perhaps she noticed something customers rarely know of, not to mention about. Possibly one of those little facts which can leave someone or somebody hanging more often than generally known.

You solve it by bringing something in to read or leave it for you to read next time.

This is exactly why I keep comics and other reading material in all our bathrooms. Helps pass the time when you are otherwise occupied. :P

Most magazines and whatever historical embroidery book I am reading are upstairs. BBC history magazine – downstairs.
