Well done!

My best guess is “Faart”.

Trick question, aardvarks can’t spell. I’m even wondering if they ‘faart’ at all. A cousin to the aardvark reabsorbs gas into the bloodstream, and burps it out. As the article said, ‘literal fart breath’.

Some people make like it’s a bad thing because they like being rude, and want to pretend that that’s good.

Thus endeth all discussions of logic in a world where which side one is on is more important than what one does.

Here’s a distinction that’s worked for me:“Politeness” (which PC proponents claim they’re pushing) is you considering the feelings or perspectives of others while flapping your own face.“Political correctness” is policing what someone else says on behalf of a third party’s sensibilities, often without checking or caring whether that third party is offended or even cares.“Politeness” is about communication.“Political correctness” is about shutting down communication.

Learn to laugh at yourself. Much easier.

If I remember correctly from my English Lit classes, one of the basic components of satire is some amount of offensiveness, or at least rudeness.

Bill Maher established his reputation on a TV show called “Politically Incorrect” until it became TOO politically incorrect for a broadcast network subject to FCC regulation. Fortunately, HBO, as a cable-only service, doesn’t have to deal with regulations pertaining to the radio-frequency spectrum, so Bill’s able to really cut loose on his “Real Time with Bill Maher” show. Aardvark sounds like ard (d sounds almost like a t) fark - it means earth pig. Given ’v’s sound like ’f’s, I expect something like vart.

I had to read a lot of comments before I understood what Frazz and Caulfield were talking about.

Those are the kind of questions asked by someone who already knows the answer, but wants a basis to excuse his s**t behavior.

So, how about that? Frazz and Caulfield discuss political correctness without ever actually using the term. Is the cartoonist succumbing to the very thing he’s messing with?

Maybe. But more likely, the cartoonist knows that, just as how The Blair Witch Project and Bird Box knew that the horror you can’t see is more scary, the punch line you have to look for might be more funny.

If not, there’s always faart jokes.

It’s Monday, my brain hasn’t kicked in, this strip was far too complicated for me. Too smart for a Monday.

Now do ‘At its worst…’ and perhaps Caulfield will begin to understand…

Or is Homer good because child abuse is okay now? Shows get applauded for having a friendly neighborhood pervert instead of a devout, workaholic south asian…

I hope Colbert doesn’t get cancelled, even tho that would be a double standard…
