So expanding this a bit, my own inability to stay focussed on complex subjects must actually be evidence of my genius. Well, that’s certainly comforting.

String Theory is stimulating. To a point.

I think Jason is just using the wrong lesson plans. He should go back to addition and try teaching Quincy to add vomit to Paige’s sock drawer.

Calculus will likely induce a coma, given the progression.

I remember when my freshman year high school math teacher gave us the derivation of the quadratic formula, step-by-step, on the blackboard. I was fascinated. It made perfect sense. I wish I could say that was still true.
