Trump: fake “president” (puppet installed by Putin despite losing the actual vote by almost THRE MILLION).

And none of the fake actors he has installed can be CONfirmed (because the ones that did all had to resign in disgrace or get fired if they actually did anything they were supposed to).

All the cabinet’s a stage, And all the men and women there merely players; They have their exits and their entrances; But individual 1 plays many parts, including one of a spiteful child throwing tantrums, a lecherous old man and a felon about to be exposed.

It would be nice if he could manage to act like a president…. or even a deal maker…. or even a decent human being.

    Last Miss

Well where oh where can my country be

The Kremlin took her away from me

She’s gone to hell so I got to go vote

So I can see my country before I leave this world

We were out on a limb hitched to Bernie’s star

    We hadn’t reasoned very far

There in the path straight ahead

The reds were appalled, their conscience was dead

We couldn’t stop so we swerved to the right

I’ll never forget the sound that night

The lying trolls, arrogance and crass

The awful dream had come to pass

Well where oh where can my country be

The Kremlin took her away from me

She’s gone to hell so I got to go vote

So I can see my country before I leave this world

When we all woke the hate had doubled down

There were Nazis marching all around

    Something hateful was running amok

But we can save our country from the alt-right

We’ll raise her head and she’ll smile and say

“Hold me darlings because it’s freedom’s way”

We held her close – we missed her – our last miss

We found the love that we knew we could dish

And when she’s won back, we’re gonna hold her tight

We can save our love – our life – from the right

Well where oh where can my country be

The Kremlin took her away from me

She’s gone to hell so I got to go vote

So I can see my country before I leave this world

If the parties encouraged their members to work together with the members of the other party to get the best possible solutions for their country, the assertions of a government of the people, by the people, and for the people not working would have been seen as false and a disestablishment candidate would not currently be the resident of the White House. Tell me again the advantage of our mutually-exclusive, opposing party system.

This morning Paul Krugman tweeted out the following:

“A thought about where we are as a nation: We’re living in the age of the unsurprising revelation. Is there anyone who doesn’t already believe that Trump-Putin-treason is a real thing? Even Trump loyalists surely know it’s true, they just think it’s an OK price for the racism 1/

The question instead is when and whether the evidence will become so dramatic, so blatant, that Trump’s defenders won’t feel able to keep pretending they don’t know. That is, it’s not really about what we learn but about how it plays 2/

Think of the Steve King story as a dress rehearsal. Everyone knew what he was, and has for years. Somehow, though, we reached a tipping point where GOP leaders felt they had to say “We’re shocked, shocked to find open racism going on in our party!” 3/

I don’t know if we’ll ever reach that sort of tipping point with Trump. But even if we do, remember: they’ve known all along, but were willing to sell out America as long as it was convenient 4/”

Acting…requires a script and directors.. I guess from that point of view, Fox News seems to be directing and Putin is providing the script.. Yeah.. he is acting.

The problem with the Trump shut down of the Trump govt is that Trump has no exit from Trump.

I don’t want a deal maker as my POTUS. I want a person who has integrity, some political knowledge and the sense to know when things are not going right and the decency to at least TRY to do the right thing. (and about 200% LESS ego!) This buzzard knows absolutely nothing about any of this. I keep wondering…‘What next?’. I keep being surprised and totally dumbfounded. Not only at him but at those buzzard crowds that seems to be following him!

In fairness to Trump, if Putin would just let him have an oligarch or two (along with their money, of course) Trump wouldn’t even know who Putin is. Until, of course, he managed to run through all of THEIR money.

There are about 1200 positions that require Senate confirmation. Trump did not submit nominees for 260. Looking at that list I can see at least half that probably should be eliminated with the rest most likely being ably handled by the career employees who do the actual work.

The 17/18 Congress ended with 145 Trump nominations left hanging. Dems in the Senate used procedural and rules manipulation to bog down the process. The largest number being in the State Dept. They have all been “returned” the WH to be considered for renomination.

Both the AG and the EPA Admin have been nominated and are waiting for the Senate to act. 8 more high level nominees are waiting.

So, will the Dems pull the same crap again? Invoking the right for 30 hours of debate for each and every position?
