“….voters are….pretty stupid, " is quite the statement for our times. It would take a pretty stupid voter to put Belfry or Dump into office. That’s very disheartening that there are fairly stupid people out there that can also and do vote. There was a time that, in order to prevent minorities from voting, there was a test of competency before one could vote. Maybe there needs to be a test now. Just as I am retested every 5 years to get my drivers license renewed, maybe we should be retested to get registered to vote. Some test that would indicate an awareness of what’s up. A social studies test, perhaps.
You got to admit that it’s pretty sad when some people in Texas slammed Jennifer Lopez for their failure to vote because she waited until near the end of day to endorse what’s his name.
