It’s been half a century cine that soccer game truce. Are there still even some civil war veterans who remember it?

Does anyone here remember an old cartoon called Fido Beta Kappa, about a dog who goes to dog college, and becomes a genius?

Our late beloved Border Collie was arguably more intelligent than a lot of people we know and was also an excellent judge of character. Her passing after 15 years was like losing a family member.

Except two year old people are able to talk better than dogs.

This is about yesterday’s because I read the response to my comment very late. If the coin toss had been different, would Star Trek’s Leonard Nimoy have been born in Portland, Massachusetts?

Take care and may God bless.

If they could have paused for a soccer match they could have paused for the love of humanity. But.. no.

On the other hand, in 1969, El Salvador and Honduras started a war during a soccer game between the two countries.

Just look at that pic of Susie… just like most of the demo liberal leaders (Pelosi, Maxine, etc.) talk about being as intelligent as a dog… they tend to look like them, too. I will say a dog is far more loving and cuddly, too!

Ahh, the power of the great game, soccer. I missed Pele’s game with the NY Cosmos but I got to see the great touch skills of Johan Cruyff, a true master of the field. Johan, a Dutch footballer, could weave the ball through players without looking at the ball; he just felt its presence. For the Cosmos, he worked as playmaker in the midfield, and occasionally got in a few goals, too.

However a dog doesn’t say “NO!” to everything!

Why didn’t the court go after her estate for her fine!
