BD doesn’t know how women communicate with each other.

In the beginning of their relationship, Boopsie didn’t know she was smart…. and neither did we.

She was the sexy but helpless blond bimbo who went for BD, the big prize college jock.

He was the realist, who took care of her; she was the airhead who fell for every inane fad.

She actually believed he was intelligent…. and he is, really, under that macho facade.

It was only a few months ago, (in this re-run) with him away at war, that she started doing some things he’d always done.

She took a finance course, learned to balance her checkbook, and found out she could make decisions on her own…

Remember those strips, before he came home, when he was reading her letters to Ray, upset with her new-found independence?

Now we’re seeing the “new” Boopsie.

It makes him angry, cos the old Boopsie wouldn’t have stood up to him.

I don’t understand why women love jerks like BD. But the bigger the jerk, the more women flock to them.

How did BAB know that BD put the server up to it? Because she was referring to the guy’s hotness. Who thinks of hotness all the time? Women?

‘Bad Boys’ are magnets for nice women.

Yeah, that’s an overgeneralization, some women want gentlemen, but I see it time and time again. I look at a guy and can tell he’s an abusive jerk and women go head over heels.

Must be in the genes. Harkens back to hunter-gatherer days when women needed an awesome, vicious hunter to bring home the bison to feed the growing family. And protect the family from bears and such.

    Right, I’m an anthropologist…

    Any viewers of ‘Supernatural’ here?

Let’s look at Dean and Sam.

Dean: Macho, good fighter, crude, abusive to women, thick skull/small brain, bossy, reactive, impulsive.

Sam: Gentle, but competent, thoughtful, handsome, intelligent, caring, careful.

Go on the Supernatural website: All the girls think Dean’s hot and Sam’s not…
