For the life of me, I couldn’t come up with the Mont Blanc name! Those "instruments ARE WICKED expensive, though; is Archie bringing it to work to show off?

I have a Mont Blanc fountain pen with gold tip or whatever it’s called. I haven’t ever got right the idea of fountain pen, it just leaves ink stains on paper and my fingers.

I prefer Pelikan, Pilot/Namiki and Waterman. Visconti are good as well but I find I have to have the adjusted before they will write properly and the closest pen repair people are about 1000 miles away and that’s across an International border, so that will be a while. Mont Blanc have lost their luster over the last 20 years or so for me. Platinum and Sailor are fairly decent brands as well and Conway and Conklin are making a comeback. And of course Parker and Schaeffer, but for an every day writer I like the Namiki Vanishing point and Pelikan M800. Great pens.

It’s not a fountain pen so it’s a Montblanc tube containing a 59 cent ballpoint refill. The Bic may be as good.

For many years I used a Parker 21 and dreamed of a 51.

So, that Hugely Expensive Mont Blanc can’t handle writing on something as soft as Human skin?

What’s going to happen when it meets a sheet of Paper?
