    Well, the family tree in the Cast of Characters tab says that the year is 1941. That was the year Edmund Cowdry published a paper on the results of succesfully treating leprorsy in rats, leading to Guy H. Faget to begin human trails using promin and sulfoxone sodium. The ’40s were the decade that saw promin become the first effective cure for leprorsy.

    So yes, Offal, lepers are still a thing.
