My opinion, based on a less-than-full understanding of the game, and some time watching it: cricket is the sport/game which is the world leader in terms of nap inducement. Reading the phone book (if you can find one) is more exciting, imo.
Strob, when I was wearing a blue uni with a funny white cap, I spent a fairish time in/near New England. Sadly, I wasn’t at Newport during the Festival. I did, however, visit—courtesy of Uncle—Duffy’s in St Thomas during the time this as yet nameless quartet was becoming the quartet they’d turn out to be: Denny, Michelle, John, and Cass. For those who didn’t recognize them by their first names, the last names, in same order: Doherty, Phillips, Phillips, Elliott. Two Mamas, two Papas.
I envy your brother that moment. One—among many of the things in the exhibit is a wee piece that broke off the Wright Flyer and went to the moon with Apollo 11.
And car washes are rain inducers.
