Anyone observing his body language during that little exchange could see he was lying up his whazoo. His neck and shoulders got stiff and he didn’t blink.

Stephen King, who is a reformed alcoholic, calls him a “dry drunk”. Someone who no longer drinks, but has a lot of issues.

While Jen did an excellent job here with her rendering of the utter hypocrisy of the situation… it is hard for me to appreciate her efforts today… because the whole situation is still so raw and frustrating. It is just another one of SO MANY utterly unbelievable ways I am finding shame in our current government leaders.

What’s more annoying than when the grownups crack that secret code you thought was so bleeding clever?

It’s becoming obvious that the Republicans knew about Kavanaugh’s disqualifying history. The 65 women who vouched for him was immediately on hand when needed, and Kavanaugh’s emails to friends regarding Ramirez were going out in July. He was probably doing the same thing to coach his network for all if his six previous background checks. Republican senators saying “This could happen to any of us” is a stunning admission of equally disqualifying guilt. And they don’t seem to get it! Perjury and witness tampering, Judge Kavanaugh!

How will he be accepted by the other Supreme Court judges? Not well.
