Looks like everything is under control. Louis. Everybody else is relaxed. Take a seat yourself.

Louis is somewhat of a control freak, however no body in his family needs controlling so Loretta got him the sneeze guard from the anchovy station at the Ballard Load ‘Em Up Buffet and Filling Station. ( see Eldo’s post)

He’s happy, thinking he is in charge, and everybody can nap and read in peace.

I would like to know what Louis controls… or thinks he controls…

via that outdoor extension cord and whatever is plugged into it right over Loretta’s head.

I’m not sure I’d like that arrangement, if I were she.

I’d also like to feel that I  have a bit more control … or at least a valued opinion….

when it comes to certain things happening on this site….

such as revamps presented as improvements, that take away privileges we once had,

like posting pictures and using different fonts.

I know it’s Universal’s site, and they pay for it…

maybe that bandwidth grew too expensive.

I’m not one to demand “free speech” or a vote in its management… it’s private property, and not mine.

But making our friends disappear, with no explanation, and not responding to polite discussion or questions about it, is…

well, all I can say is .. it’s disappointing.

Thank you, Linguist and Happy, for explaining about the Monkey….

but just in case it’s still not clear to some newer Ballard Streeters…

The “missing monkey” is not a “thing.”

    He’s a person.

A real, live, Ballard Street (and other comics) commenter, who uses the name “Munky Bluz,” with various spellings and internal additions….

one of the very creative founders of Ballard Street as it is today, and a friend….

in our Ballard Street world, he was elected our Sheriff, he invented and owns the Tiki Bar, and he’s my boss.

In what they tell me is the real world, he’s been very busy at his job, and less able than previously to post here…..

so I didn’t realise for a few weeks that his comments had been made invisible.

    This isn’t a fantasy or a game or a thing….

it’s about a real person whose input into Ballard Street is sorely missed.

Mudd, too, is a real person.

    And Dogsniff.

All banned by GoComics and I’d like to bring them all back!

Looking at the level of clutter on that floor i can’t help but think that he’s not doing very good of a job of it.

    Van job today!

    Toledo to Corvallis!

It’s going to be in the low 60’s and overcast, so it could be a comfortable day over in the valley.

    And, its a nice drive.

    I am seriously intrigued !

What in the world is that extension cord attached to ? What’s it for ?

The low hanging art masterpiece, I can understand…but the orange, heavy-duty electric extension cord ???

Looks to me like the animals are effected by the heat and humidity here in my area and how “cold blooded” Louis and his spouse are! Just sayin’! LOL!

    HEY SUSAN!
