    Good morning™, all!

So, the meeting never really took place. “Romancing” is a nice way to put getting her pregnant and then leaving her without even finding out about the baby. We all make mistakes, I guess.

    I love Junior’s drawing tablet!

If what Neil says is true, for the first time we might be able to see Bribery and Christine as victims!

At least as far as sexual misconduct goes.

Do they really need Bribery anyway? Won’t a simple DNA test do?

Good morning™, dejected suitor daddies !

This poor guy’s jaw is hanging so low he is sweeping the floor. P. 2 Junior is looking good !

I don’t know… simply saying “It didn’t” seems to be disingenuous to me. Junior could easily infer there was no meeting whatsoever even though we saw that there was at least a brief face-to-face moment between the two. Now, whether Austin is downright lying by omission or just “inartfully speaking” with no ill intent is still to be seen. Seems fishy to me, though…

Isn’t Junior Dick Tracy’s son? Yet he refers to his own Dad as “Tracy?” Might want to distance himself from the familial relationship while at work, but still, it seems weird to me.

Nice character study of the late “Sawtooth” on the wall there, Junior. ✨

Junior is still doing all his work with pen and paper? I thought nowadays that at least some of the work was done on computers.

I wouldn’t listen to Mr.Bribery anyway. It would probably just lies anyway.

Oh the meeting took place via the panels which left off on this episode. Lafayette is persona non-grata with Bribery. Really particular considering that he brought his sister into a life of crime.

Austin looks like he’s stuck in the early 70s.

The neckerchief-wearing Austin Lafayette (it’s not a scarf today) isn’t saying that there was not a meeting; his colloquial phrase, “It didn’t,” (panel 3) means that the meet-up did not “go” well (in response to Junior’s “How’d it go?” [panel 2]). Bribery still feels a sense of violated family honor in Ugly Christine’s relationship with That 70s Dude….

So, we get a big build up regarding Austin meeting Bribery in the pen, with heavy hints some major news will result & a cliff hanging “To be continued,” only to see it completely fizzle out several weeks later. Not one of Joe & Mike’s smarter narrative choices.
