A bowel movement by any other name could cause unicorpses in crawl spaces.

    Or something to that effect.

So, twenty-eight years later, I need to have the duct work in the crawl space redone, and I decide to sweep it out to remove nails, bits of wood, screws and sheet metal from original construction. Well… it took forever. During the process, I found what appeared to be the skeleton of either a blue jay or a red-bellied woodpecker. As a bonus, there was a multitude of spiders. There were also innumerable dead millipedes from a load of wood mulch that turned out to be full of millipede eggs, which resulting infestation lasted a number of years before returning to normal millipede levels. But you ask, “What has this to do with hand-tied flies?” The only answer possible is, “Nothing.” None of it has anything to do with anything. It’s just the way it is. And now I’ve stolen your valuable moments, and you can never get them back.

Our modern marketing-industrial complex = poop thesaurus factory. … AND, our current political discourse is a crawl space infinity. So, sorry, Teresa, I think we HAVE faded out to that.

Are crawl space infinities like in that one Twilight Zone episode where they had to send the dog through the wall?

Fly Fishing in America has been reduced to phishing, in a thesaurus poop factory’s lagoon of lameness.

I have a problem with enclosed spaces. Freak out (can’t handle without medication) an MRI. Panic sets in. I feel like I’m being buried alive. I’m a big guy so it’s embarrassing to admit. Don’t you love the anonymity of the internet?

Must be the “Fishers of Men” who dangle lures to catch humanity and then they disappear generally never to return. But not always. The KUTULLÛ who do from time-to-time. There are plenty of stories of the people getting lost and some are found, always dead an in odd places others disappear and never found again. Generally in the same places over many centuries. Places generally shunned by the locals who know their infamous reputation.ƶ As to why these creatures or beings take humans just may be they steal souls for some unfathomable use in their own cryptic civilization. The bodies tend to have no injuries to odd ones. Some may report phantom wing beats heard in those areas. The KUTULLÛ are described as roughly humanoid scaled with arms, legs and bat-like wings. octopus head with 6 eyes an a smell you will never forget. “By their stench shall ye know them…”

Much fiction has been written about them. They are ancient beyond measure, and enigmatic as the sphinx of Egypt. They may be invisible to us and yet very material when they want to be. They tend to strike in National Parks which is an oddity in itself.

Teresa is being conventional about it by making them fish lures. However the concept is the same. They tend to go after those alone even for a few moments then they are gone. You might hear them calling on the wind or it is just the wind itself.

This looks like some kind of chain-mail with thinly veiled threats of what will happen if you break the chain. Me thinks someone is fishing to bolster their Go-Lame-Me account.

Quit babbling o’ greenfields and commence tying flies, or the Man in Maille will take your head off neatly with his longsword! There is no room for daydreaming idlers and peddlers of the Lame in our fly factory!
