I’ve been reading over on Webtoons recently. The difference in audiences is evident. Here is negative and sardonic, over there the people are happy and enthusiastic. GoComics is a theater for the terminally pissed.

Er, Hubbs, look at her hand and then into her eyes. Know that there is no “Al.” Will Ellie kick a field goal or will she kick clueless Hubbs? Will Hubbs be forced to punt once he learns of his mistake?

If Hubbs just suddenly inspired Ellie to become the best player on the team…I will burst out laughing with joy.

It’s interesting to see how this is playing out.

Alternately, if she wraps her arms around him and kisses him in the guise of “Al”, fujoshi mode might activate!

If it had been “We need you” I would expect the Zulus to be just over the next hill.

He means on the team Ellie not in life. Though I still say Hubbs is the one :)

It might be more romantic if Hubs knew Al was female. Still, it makes me squirm with satisfaction. :)

Hubbs is still apparently oblivious to the fact that “Al” is female, despite the fact it is becoming more obvious. If the expression “Crappy-poodles!” wasn’t a dead giveaway, nothing is. Of course, I’m not sure Hubbs heard that.

He may need Al now… but when the truth comes out, he’s going to need a therapist.

And possibly a pace-maker for his heart.

I suppose it depends on whether Hubbs’s double entendres are double or single.

One wonders about all of the other guys. Have THEY noticed that she is she.

Ah, yes… the magic words… “I need you.”

Almost as good as, “I love you.”
