    Good morning™, bank creakers!

It looks like a combination lock dial under that eagle’s wing.

Well, everyone suspected Sawtooth had another stash of cash in Minot.

Told you Grimm didn’t bother it, probably didn’t know about it.

Watch Tracy and Sam be standing behind him when he gets up with their guns drawn and informing him he’s under arrest!

In the middle panel, is that an eye peeking out?

When, does one have the chance to install such an elaborate headstone?

    Poppycock I say, pure poppycock!

Watch his arm get stuck. Or get bit by something…do they have black widows or scorpions in Minot?

I’m betting Grimm got there first, that would be poetic justice…..

But it turns out the cash is in Confederate dollars, hence the CSA reference!

Confederate money is now worth more than it’s face value. A $5 confederate note can get $50-$100.

His little bit of humor in the middle panel doesn’t really work.

everyone is overlooking the BIGGER QUESTION here…

WHen did Sawtooth hide the cash? When he was introduced in the strip it stated that he was a hitman based out west. In fact, Tracy said he had HEARD of him which would imply that Sawtooth had never been in “Tracyville” before getting hired by Bribery.

I am going to “GO NEIL” here and come up with a solution on my own to explain a loophole.

Sawtooth bought the plot AFTER arriving in Tracyville and stashed the money AFTER Bribery paid him off for an “unseen, off panel hit”

There, thats my “Neil Theory” and I will stick to it regardless of whether its flawed or unfeasable or not :)

Just when I was about to say that you actually have a good point, you yourself go and come up with a perfectly plausible explanation for it!

Holy cash stash, Tracy readers! —Sawtooth has a sense of humor (panel 2)!

Panel 1 acknowledges a rust problem, such as I wondered about late yesterday. But in panel 3 we see a desperate man—assassin, thief, fugitive….
