Those who sell their souls pay a price greater than the 30 pieces of silver they receive in exchange. What will those who sell out their children’s climate and environment tell the heirs of their mismanagement?

Nobody noticed Chief Inspector Dreyfus’ eye twitch at first, either. And we all know how that turned out.

And, I wonder what’s polluting the air!

    ….fossil fuels, perhaps?

We are all to blame for the pollution, from the plastic in the water to the CO2 in the air.

If oil companies were really able to manipulate prices at will, why is oil so cheap today?

Yeah, the use and over-use of fossil fuels has resulted in a lot of pollution. It also resulted in the population explosion, since more people were getting food, water, and medical care that would have been out of reach a few decades before.

I’d feel much worse about it, but I loved my brother very much, and the use of fossil fuels enabled him to live to 55 years old, instead of dying from a laundry list of birth defects before he reached puberty. Sorry, I know this is selfish, but I thank God regularly for cars, new medical treatments, phones, and a host of things that may be killing the planet. And I’ll bet if you ask around, there are a lot of people out there just as grateful.

Now let’s find a way to clean this up and switch to healthier alternatives. I’ve got reduce, reuse, recycle, walk everywhere possible, and sell used/vintage/collectible whatever I can so it doesn’t get trashed. Also, do as much by computer so that you don’t burn gas running around town.
