Oxford comma vindicated!!! I will forever use an Oxford comma!!!
And in other news, science proves that two spaces between sentences is correct: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/speaking-of-science/wp/2018/05/04/one-space-between-each-sentence-they-said-science-just-proved-them-wrong-2/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.385848f46363
I just read that article and no it wasn’t. Those researchers made several mistakes, like using a mono spaced font and a small group of students whose experience skewed towards a comfort level with double spaces after the period. Some folks will always use two. They’ll also underline things, even though we’ve had access to larger type and bold versions of the characters for thirty years. Sad.
One of the giant flying creatures asked his or her mate how much he or she loved him or her, and the creature said this much after spreading the wings 29 feet. Is it possible to buy the academy awards: an Oscar, an Emmy, a Tony, and a Grammy? I read that there’s a Rita Moreno who’s the only entertainer to win all four, and I don’t even have a job as an entertainer. It would be cool if I was an actor. Do they let people who can’t cry at will use onions?

Looks mis-drawn – should be a much smaller body and head, and really long wings, like a condor or albatross.

Wait, I focused on the period and two spaces bit. Oxford commas are great. I use ‘em every time.

How drunk do you have to get to think that is a good idea?
Alan: Bert, I was thinking of putting beaver secretions in the next batch.
Bert: Where you goin find a woman who’ll let you do that?
Alan: No, I mean like the animal; you know the one with the flat tail.
Bert: I guess we gonna have ta catch us some of em first. When did you come up with this idea?
Alan: After finishing of that last batch that had the dead armadillo and fox in it.
