I think Razor is mildly skeptical about the value of this exercise.

Now if Gene had the sense to hide his food in different parts of the house and yard every day, Razor could have more fun. Maybe drop a kibble here or there just to throw him off a bit as well.

Gene is training Razor to find his own food in the wild. But in the wild there is no kibble.

It was suggested that my “Nikita” comment yesterday went Whoosh over the heads of our, uh, youthful readers. I have posted a small explanation on yesterday’s comments.

Listen, they didn’t name him Razor because he has tiny little teeth, and Gene better uncover that kibble tout suite or Razor will sink his namesakes in Gene’s ankles!

The inner wolf in Razor is somewhat underwhelmed by the whole bloodless foraging concept.

What’s happenin’, MUDD?

Razor’s giving him the evil eye.

This might take a while.

Razor isn’t as sharp as he used to be.

Methinks the old pooch will be foraging in the trash at his earliest opportunity.

Razor’s sharp wit will give him the last laugh.

Your wrong. Razor’s just as sharp as ever. He’s honed his skills, and cuts right to the chase.

He can get a little stroppy. Gene’s had a couple of close shaves with Razor, because he forgot that humor can be double-edged !

Whereupon Razor covers Gene’s shoes with, um… Razor’s Edge, providing him with a forlorn experience…

Gene will not like what his food will be covered with by Razor.
