This is exactly how these “spirit mediums” work. It’s called “cold reading”. They throw out vague hints that could apply to anyone and zero in on the people who react.
I, for one, have never seen an armadillo on the side of the road, mangled and lifeless. Maybe they should all move here where it would be safer for them. On the other hand, this is Canada and they might find our winters a tad difficult.

We counted 31 “resting” by the side of the road in between Dallas. Tx and Tulsa, Ok two weeks ago.
