Dafne did an amazing job in P2 managing to avoid an Exploding Eye Syndrome reaction to the little guy

Like I said, slack and sympathy totaly wasted on BADER. REALLY hoping Tru hears how he’s putting Boo down…

He thinks short-tempered is a crack about his height. So he has the personality of a jerk and the intellect of a moron.

What a sympathetic character.

P1 What is Double D planning to do with that finger??? P3 Still trying to work out the math, I think we need to know his actual height as a starting point and then the standard by which we measure “goodness”. May be too complicated but worth a stab.

In all reality , when does Barry attack Double D ? Trumpet headline blares , BADER SNAPS ATTACKS REPORTER .

Young Master wins the exploding anatomy parts syndrome this week. If Barry wore a collar he’d be hot under it. That new Randy Newman song “Short People” is playing on the Zenith.

Where this could lead: a) Double D writes a story about Bader having a “David vs. Goliath” struggle, to which the team will absolutely catch on to and torment Barry to no end. b) The paper is so nervous about the story they won’t run it, but Marty Moon gives Bader an open mic on his show.

Hmmm….I think Huskie may be on to something…R & W, reacting to our relentless pummeling about crappy story lines decides to do a “ripped from the headlines” piece and goes Parkland on us!

I keep rereading P2 and wondering just who in the world would take “short-sighted” as a joke about their height? DUMB

P4: “I can see you’re a little upset, you need to calm down!”

P2, I’ve called him a midget on more than one occasion. He seems to be a bit sensitive about that.

P3, Well, you are half the size!

One of my younger brother’s friends was exactly like this guy. He was a pretty good athlete, even went to the Kansas City Royals baseball academy. Anybody remember that experiment? He came out for a couple of practices years later with my softball team and he never once shut up. That didn’t go over real well with my buddies. I did like playing basketball against him though. I’m 5’11" and I towered over this guy. He never quite figured out why I’d just let him drive by me in the lane and then all I’d have to do is turn around and block his shot. Every time. He made me feel like one of the big people.

Now DD sounds like Dr. Phil….“so, Barry, how does that make you feel?..Do you blame your father for your lack of height?”

In P1, she is preparing for the finger-wave prostate exam, and in P2 she is making him cough while holding his man parts.

Too late by now for any one to see this but in panel three today the character of Barry Bader is apparently being played by Martin Short.
