Mom could fold a fitted sheet so you couldn’t tell the difference between it and a folded flat sheet all while never letting it touch the floor. She tried to show me, to no avail, yet my wife still sticks me with that job. Maybe I need to fail harder.
You don’t fold a fitted sheet. You stick it back on the bed. However, some of my wife’s friends have sheets for occasions, maybe a jack o lantern sheet for Halloween. Can you imagine sleeping on the batter body of Jesus Christ for Easter?
I can remember having a twin sized fitted sheet that was sewn to the bottom of the flat sheet when I was a kid. I don’t know if my mom sewed them that way or if she found it, but it was great for never coming untucked.

They ought to come with instructions, arrows, and numbers printed on them.

Shouldn’t they have self-folding fitted sheets by now?

I don’t fold them. Wash them and put them back on the bed. When they wear out they go to the animal shelter and a new one does on.

Just fold it as best you can……. who’s going to see it?

You don’t fold a fitted sheet. You stuff it into the pillowcase along with the flat sheet. That way it all stays together.

Put one corner over your hand, then the next and the next and the next. Shake to flatten. Fold to desired size.

I learned how to fold them in the 60s. Trickier now with the elastic all around!

Just use flat sheets and tuck them correctly. Fitted wasn’t always available.

Wash, hang to dry outside, put back on bed, repeat once a week, unless it’s too cold.

I can fold one…but why? Like Red Phantom said….make your own “bed in a bag” everything is all together when you need them.

When ever some one says to to me that nothing is impossible, I ask them if they ever tried to fold a fitted sheet. Most people agree with me.
