Jake, “Uh Velda… you weren’t moving her lips and making her say funny things, were you?”

Velda, “Of course not. Why would you even ask me that?”

Well, at least Mavis isn’t dead…yet!

Looks like Velda tranquilized Mavis. Can’t imagine how Velda managed to get her to an elevator. But Velda has exposed a conspirator, captured her, and brought her in for interrogation. Not bad.

Now these rats look both clueless and useless. Not at all like the ones that just cried wolf – or swung the fox!

So who is the hero and who is the villain? And I hope Velma didn’t feel obligated to arrest just anybody…

Love the bit of tongue sticking out of Mavis’ mouth. I see my own dogs do that when they sleep.

I can’t help but feel that the rats are … well, scared of Velda Vanderweasel, for some reason. Jacob needs to use that to his advantage.

Mavis: “And I would have gotten away with it too, if it weren’t for… Ow. Why’s my head hurt so much?”

Velda: “It must have been the wine, dear.”

Coffee at 2:30 AM? Either Jake is an incredible morning bunny or he has severe insomnia.

I love being able to look into the staff canteen here. Security has a pretty nice set-up.

Ohhh this is going to be interesting.

Velda – lift tall buildings with one hand and walk under them. Wotta girl!

Does Velda work for Jake? Or am I seeing a possible set-up for Velda to get rid of both Jake and Mavis…

Mavis simply can’t hold her liquor.

Hmmm. Mavis is an “old friend” huh. Explains Velda’s visits to her house. I’ll still wager that she’s a functionary in the administration, probably middle to upper level. The anti-Jake contact on the inside.

Just who in the heck is Mavis, I could only find her back in 2017 when Velda was in her house and Fish man showed up. Any other info would be valuable.

Rats: “Are we going to have to get the brooms and mops for a clean up again?”

I have a sneaking suspicion that bringing Mavis up to Security will flush out the anti-Jacob faction in ways that will be very messy for Jacob and Velda.

Velda telling the rats what to do and at the same time bolstering Jacob’s authority. Seems like she’s not a minor player.

By the way, since Jake Jackrabbit is actually “up” at half past two in the morning, what’s to complain about?
