Well, Jack is totally into her. Gunther moved on, but he’d probably still date her if she showed interest… so, her dating life is only as bad as she’s making it.

Lu and Quill will be it later in the future.

Luann’s dating life would be better except for the part where she doesn’t want to see a man naked.

…so how much money did Fay’s mom pay Luann for this session?

While technically not “dating tips”, this certainly violates the spirit of the law in terms of what Luann was and wasn’t supposed to be doing in regards to her mentoring of Fay, and right after she acknowledged that she shouldn’t be doing it, to boot. Somebody better fit Luann for her Scumbag Steve hat.

Wellllll, wasn’t that convenient.

And when I saw “Time’s up,” what I really mean is “Please, don’t ever bring this up again.”

Okay, that’s the last strip for this week. It better be the LAST for a while. Time to move on to other arcs. It’s been a boring week reminiscing about Aaron, who I suspect Greg misses because he was simple and his arcs were easy to draw. And he better NOT come back if bringing Aaron back by flashbacks is the way to do it. Will Aaron waltz in next week?

Faye the best way to describe Luann dating life is that she has none.

Welllll, I don’t have a current boyfriend, but you never know what may happen tomorrow!

So I guess Jack wasn’t able to set the hook. I think Monday will feature some of the other Luann cast.

Luann: Uh – it could be worse. Actually I just had a fun -though unconventional – date with a new guy, and I’m hoping to get to know him better.

The sad part here, IMHO, is that Luann had other, far more Interesting young men in her life that she didn’t even bother to talk about……,

For what it worth. We all know the drill. First, you have to be happy with yourself. Do the things that make you happy. Pursue the hobbies and interest that motivate you.

OK, I"m betting this arc ends today. I get the feeling that this entire arc was just cover for Greg to be “on vacation…” or “on leave” for something. Hence all the flashbacks that didn’t require new drawings. Maybe he had something to do the week this was drawn/set.

Anyway, back to the Tiff arc please! PLEASE!!!

Tiffany, the sexy, still-available fantasy girl that only Gunther shares close, personal moments with. Greg has a thing going with her, a tension that is more interesting to maintain than to break.

Well, right now I’m seeing a nude model.

AHA! The rubber just met the road, as they say.

What is this ‘dating life’ that you speak of?

Next week: “Luann, this is Fay’s mother. I warned you about talking to Fay about boys instead of tutoring her in acting. You’re fired.”

Next week, will we have to suffer thru the Quill reminiscences strips from 2012? Groan!

Sort of like “Get thee to a nunnery”.

One other thing. How ironic that Lu tells Fay, “Our time’s up…” The std. phrase usually said by a shrink to their patient when the given session ends…. Ironic on a couple of levels… In this encounter between Lu and Fay, I wonder who the “shrink” was….. :)

As we leave those thrilling days of yesteryear, I must admit that the drawing has become better and more precise. BUT, it no longer has the free, doodle quality that must have appealed to the younger, dreamy eyed, little girls. The art matured as did the burdens.

The more I see of Luann’s crush on Aaron Hill, the less I care to see….

It just dawned on me that each time Luann was ready to take the relationship with Quill “to the next step” Greg pulls a breakup out of the hat.Witness his return to Australia after the bedroom scene and her panel #1 comment of 14 July 2012.Then the planned unaccompanied New York weekend for which Luann had already bought hotel reservations and theater tickets.Sounds like the gun was locked and loaded a couple of times but Greg just couldn’t pull the trigger. :o)
