If you can write the “It Was a Dark and Stormy Night” novel, Snoopy, you can write a love letter.
What’s wrong with a humorous love letter, Snoopy?
No, you shouldn’t, Snoopy. It’s bad enough remembering what you said in conversation, sometimes…let alone reading your flights of amorous fancy aloud to someone else…
It is supposed to represent shorthand, I think – but can’t really decipher the squiggles.
“(To my) dearest darling precious sweetie”.
No wonder Woodstock giggled. I learned “shnd” around 1971, resulting in many journal entries from that point in my life that I myself cannot decode.
