It occurs to me that the Repubs might well be thinking, “That’s a few less kids we have to pay to educate, and certainly a few less teachers we need to pay.”
The true NRA would be using that weapon on their back to clear a path through the crowd of those commie-loving liberal kids, who are just asking for it because they aren’t armed.
Whether you or I agree with the youngsters, as an American I am proud of them for raising their voices in no uncertain terms. What impact it will have is likely negligible in the present climate. However, their statement is not going unheard or unheeded. A local youngster I know received an in-school detention (he wasn’t singled out, all participants were included) for participating in the class walk-outs this past week. He complied quietly and without complaint, demonstrating the ideal of civil disobedience; e.g., that your actions may incur consequences but you are willing to take those consequences to draw attention to your cause. See as examples. Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Maybe if we all combine the extra money from our unnecessary tax cut, we can create a fund to fix our decaying infrastructure … the 115th is useless. Just like our children, we are going to have to do for ourselves what our “representatives” refuse to do.
It works both ways Luckoboy. Diane Feinstein gets gun lobby money too, which is why she torpedoed the Sandy Hook Legislation that would have done a lot of good regarding evaluating gun owners and putting an end to garage sale gun deals.

Kids teaching the “adults”, a better gun safety course than the NRA’s.

The Republicans don’t care about the kids. Like I’ve said before , ’no sense , no feeling.

Dana Loesch says the kids aren’t mature enough to get into politics. But they are mature enough to buy WMD! Shows where the NRA stands.

That bag was full of rubles when the NRA caught it…. when you just can’t use a Trump Tower to launder your rubles…. use the NRA
